Volunteer Opportunities PDF Print E-mail

NVCT offers outdoor environmental restoration volunteer opportunities year-round, including tree plantings, invasive species removals, trash clean-ups, etc.  NVCT provides gloves, equipment, and any training necessary.  No experience required!

In 2010 NVCT will be doing 2 invasive removals every 2nd Saturday of the month!

From 10am-12pm we'll partner with RiP in Arlington's Lacey Woods Park (to register, e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call 703-228-7636), and from 1-3pm we'll be pulling invasives around the Packard Center in Annandale Community Park. These events are great for fulfilling volunteer service hour requirements!  For more information and to RSVP, please go to our meetup page.

Individual Volunteer Opportunities

Individual volunteer projects are available on an ongoing basis.  If you need volunteer or community service hours, or if you’re interested in a job in the environmental field and would like some more experience, we can work with you to design a project that will suit your needs.  Opportunities are available year-round for both indoor and outdoor work.  Projects requiring staff supervision must take place in and around the Packard Center in Annandale Community Park during normal business hours.
