Katy Densmore

Katy Densmore currently serves as the Head of Business at Impact Observatory, a mission-driven technology company bringing artificial intelligence to earth observation data for sustainability and environmental decision making.

She has over 20 years of leadership, strategy, and conservation experience, developed in both corporate and nonprofit settings, including 7 years in regional and global roles at The Nature Conservancy.

Katy is passionate about local conservation and the availability of nearby nature to all. She joined the NVCT board in 2016 and served as the Chair from 2019 to 2021.

She also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Families in Nature, an organization connecting children and their families to nature through time spent outdoors. Katy has a mechanical engineering degree from Rice University and lives in Alexandria, VA.
