Bridget Lowell joined the NVCT Board in 2018, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience across nonprofit and private sectors, media, and Capitol Hill. Lowell currently serves as Chief Communications Officer and Vice President for the Urban Institute. During her time at Urban, Lowell has significantly expanded the organization’s visibility and impact with a new brand, a transformed digital presence, and major increases in coverage and engagement across traditional and social media.
Lowell previously served as the Director of Strategic
Communications for The Nature Conservancy. She also worked as Communications Director for U.S. Representative David Price (D-North Carolina) and for national and local political campaigns. She started her career as a on-air television reporter. Lowell graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.
