Andy McLeod, the executive director of Foothills Forum, a community news nonprofit, is a believer in Thomas Jefferson’s admonition that “those who expect to be both ignorant and free, expect what never was and never will be."

A former Capitol Hill press secretary and state agency head, Andy was also a scrivener at The Washington Post in the days of Woodward & Bernstein, Katherine Graham, and Ben Bradlee. Andy has master's degrees from Georgetown and Harvard.
