Kojo Baidoo

Communications Fellow

Kojo has had a passion for the natural world for as long as he can remember. A Baltimore native, he developed a childhood fascination with birds that grew over time into a deep appreciation for the environment and a desire to contribute meaningfully to conservation efforts. Kojo graduated from Princeton University in 2024, earning his bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and completing a senior thesis on the social behavior of black vultures. Before joining NVCT, he spent a year working as a Hubbard Fellow for The Nature Conservancy in Nebraska, where he learned how conservation efforts are more effective when the public is engaged, particularly in a world increasingly shaped by digital media platforms. Alongside this work, Kojo built his own social media presence, sharing his passion for birds and nature with a growing online community.

As the NVCT Communications Fellow, Kojo brings a background in conservation storytelling, digital media, and content creation to support NVCT's communications efforts, helping connect the community to the region’s natural spaces and the important work NVCT does to protect them.
