As stewards of the natural world, we share a responsibility to protect it. At NVCT, we are committed to conserving Northern Virginia's lands and waters while safeguarding the thousands of plant and animal species that depend on them, ensuring a healthier future for both people and wildlife.
Our Work so Far
We host BioBlitz's to discover and document biodiversity in the Northern Virginia region.
We have curated a list of resources detailing gardening tips, native species catalogs, forestry regulations and other ecological information community members can use to create native, healthy ecosystems on their properties.
We continue to procure more land at Crow's Nest, which supports 900 acres of wetlands, 23 miles of streams, and over 2,300 acres of mature hardwood forest, providing habitat for a diverse range of wildlife.
