Julie Meredith

A longtime Arlington resident, Julie holds a deep appreciation for the value of nature and the role that parks and natural areas play in supporting the health and wellbeing of our community.

Julie has nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit fundraising and communications, and currently serves as Deputy Director of Philanthropy for the Canada Program of The Nature Conservancy. Constantly curious, Julie enjoys learning from different perspectives and connecting with people who want to make the world a better place.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from the University of Iowa. In 2023, she became a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). In her spare time, Julie enjoys staying active by running and biking on local trails and exploring new places with her family.
