Terborgh Terrace Garden

The Terborgh Terrace Garden (TTG) is a dynamic collaboration between the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) and Friends of Urban Agriculture (FOUA) in the Donaldson Run neighborhood of Arlington, VA.
The inspiration for this project came from Anne Terborgh, who lovingly tended to this vibrant garden for countless years, nurturing it with care and dedication. To honor her legacy, NVCT has committed to rejuvenating these beautiful grounds while simultaneously creating a valuable neighborhood resource.
The TTG joins the Plot Against Hunger program, an initiative led by our partners at FOUA. This space will grow hundreds of pounds of fresh produce annually for donation to local food pantries, combatting food insecurity in our communities. It will also be a local resource for urban agriculture education, access to green space, and community gathering.
