Lucas Theobald

Land Conservation Fellow

Lucas Theobald has dedicated his career to protecting the world we live in using creative implementations of technology. As a graduate of William and Mary’s Integrative Conservation major, he specializes in making conservation goals into realities across different sectors. He emphasizes the importance of protecting biodiversity and improving community well-being with meaningful, data-driven results. Before joining NVCT, Lucas conducted research with the Department of Conservation and Recreation and fundraised with nonprofit organizations.

As the Land Conservation Fellow, Lucas uses his GIS and data science background to support NVCT’s land management projects. He grew up in Fairfax and is happy to bring his skills to his hometown
