Jessica Ross

Jessica leads the Global Public Affairs Practice at Finn Partners, a public relations and communications agency. Based in the firm’s Washington, DC office, Jessica has built a practice dedicated to working with foundations, organizations, and companies around the world who are committed to positive advancement on critical issues. From sustainability and environmental protection, clean energy, economic and trade policy, culture and the arts, technology and education issues, Jessica has spent her career working at the intersection of policy, politics and communications.

Since moving to this region more than 30 years ago, Jessica has worked on regional issues— first a congressional staffer for Virginia’s 8th District, and then as an advocate working to advance regional and state programs in Fairfax County and for the commonwealth.

Jessica is an avid user of the region’s green spaces, and can be found at Burke Lake Park, Fountainhead, Hemlock Overlook, or hiking the trails or paddling along the Occoquon River.

Jessica is an alumna of Stony Brook University. She holds an MA from The George Washington University where currently teaches Strategic Communications at the School of Media and Public Affairs.
