Bio

MaVynee Betsch was an American environmentalist who spent most of her adult life dedicated to advocacy and outreach. She focused on educating the public on the Black history and environmental importance of American Beach, Amelia Island. Her commitment to her cause and environmental activism is what garnered her well-known title of "The Beach Lady".
