NVCT hosted its annual Nearby Nature Photo Showcase on January 11, 2020, at Reston Art Gallery in Reston, Va. The event was made possible thanks to our more than 150 photo submissions and Reston Art Gallery. The 2019 Nearby Nature Photo contest was judged by Lindsay Burneson of the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities for the City of Alexandria; as well as Jasmine Brown, Davida Carnahan, Ashley Luna from the Bureau of Land Management Eastern States. Prizes were graciously donated by Glory Days, Great American Restaurants, Meadows Landscaping and Nursery, and The National Parks Service.
