Jodi is originally from the Northeast but now lives in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Dubuque and is currently working on her Master's Degree in Appalachian Studies at Shepherd University.
Jodi has worked at various non-profit Environmental Education facilities as well as a YMCA in Maryland, introducing children and adults alike to the great outdoors. Before becoming the Associate Executive Director, she organized and led camps, including hiking, kayaking, camping, biking, and other specialty focuses. Most recently, she was an Interpretive Park Ranger at Shenandoah National Park, sharing her love of nature with visitors from around the world for nine years. She is a Virginia Master Naturalist and Southeastern Master Herpetologist and spends much of her free time exploring the outdoors.
